Test suspicious files with free online scanner - Jotti

How safe you are when you are working on your computer? You may consider it relatively safe if you are not connected to the Internet and you are not plugging any external drives or recorded media. But that is not going to happen – you need your computer to be connected to the World; that is largely what computers for.

So, how to keep your connected devices as safe and secure as possible? Anti-virus, anti-malware, personal firewall – all that really helps. But does not guarantee 100% success. The “badware” developers are really creative in their efforts to succeed.

Jotti – free online malware scanner – offers one more potential level of protection. It is useful for the cases when you receive a questionable file or email attachment which might be loaded with malware. Do not take a chance - upload a file to Jotti, and the site will scan it for malware, using more than 20 security suites, embedded in the site functionality. Note that there is a 25MB limit per file, you may upload for inspection.

Be aware that all uploaded files are shared with anti-virus companies so detection accuracy of their anti-virus products can be improved. Therefore, if you do not want your files to be distributed, refrain from submitting.

Additional information is offered about the loaded file as well, such as:
  • File size
