Once awhile you may stumble on these effects on Facebook
by chance, like posting "congratulations” on your friend’s birthday. When
posted, these words appear as a different color and clicking on them triggers a
brief animation (balloons or hearts, for example.)
The list of the special words is growing, and such minim-animations
are called “text delights”. Some of the triggers are certain Holidays related,
others are more generic. This program has unlocked delight for millions of
people across the world and has had massive impact through the celebration of
the 20th Anniversary of Harry Potter, activating people around Earth Day and
inspiring people to reflect on their maternal connections on Mother's Day.
