BeFunky – Outstanding Free Online Pictures Editor

Online graphic editors represent the service category which steadily gains popularity. Where we have public interest – we have gains from advertising. Therefore, there is so much competition in this marketing niche.

While there are many image editors on the web to fill the growing needs, not all of them equally user-friendly, fast, and offer multiple options. The free service Befunky will be able satisfy the most demanding consumer.

The service offers so many editing capabilities, that it is hardly unlikely you will need more than they have, unless you have a very specific advanced assignment. Applying filters and artistic effects is easy and straightforward, and you can see the outcomes right away. If you do not like the effect, you can always roll back and start again.

Controlling your Android Phone from your Computer

Definitely, your Android smart phone is a small computer, but it is still too small to operate it the same way you operate your PC.

In an effort to cover this gap, PhoneDeck, a new "cloud dashboard" for Android phones allowing users to perform multiple phone-related operations through their computer, controlling the phone from a web browser. You can send texts, make calls and reject calls on your phone all through your computer. The application can also sync phone data and gain insights on phone usage.

Along with notifying you of phone calls and text messages, PhoneDeck also puts your Android phone contacts to the cloud, which makes the whole interface look like an all familiar social network, enriched with the phone notification features.

Key features of the free PhoneDeck app are:
- Write & read SMS on the computer screen using your computer keyboard
- Get incoming call notifications on your computer showing you everything about the caller (CHROME only)
- Edit & update your phone book from the computer via the PhoneDeck cloud database
- Sync your LinkedIn contacts into your phone book
- Get meaningful insight into your phone communication behavior

Cameyo – Create Virtual Portable Application from any Installer

While choosing the software for different purposes, one of the important criteria of selection is portability. Whenever possible, I always prefer software which is naturally free for general use and which does not require installation on the Hard Drive. That allows decreasing the clutter on the disk and in the registry, and allows carrying the utility anywhere on USB thumb drive.

The problem is that not every developer invests additional time and resources on building portable utility even when that is doable.

But, there is a solution for that as well. Cameyo is a free application virtualization product. The state of the art application virtualization technology packages any applications into a single standalone executable, eliminating the need to install.

Cameyo creates a virtual application - a single .EXE file that holds an entire application, including files, DLLs and registry. Virtual apps can be copied & moved around like regular files and launched from anywhere without installation: home, office, Dropbox, USB disk-on-key, laptop, network shares.

The main product is free software virtualization utility, but if that would be the only company offering, I would rather post this review on my Freeware Blog.

But Cameyo offering free online services to perform the same operation remotely through the virtual service. You just need to create a free account and submit the installation packager you need to convert to portable, and you will get the package you are looking for. Simple and straightforward…

Before submitting the installer, I would recommend to browse the library of applications, which were already portabilized by other users:
